Inverters for converting dc power to ac power with precision automatic voltage regulation and transformer isolation
These solid-state, unipolar pulse-width-modulated (PWM) dc to ac inverters are designed to convert +/- 24V and +/- 48V dc power to 115V or 230V ac power with +/-3% output voltage regulation. The XINv dc to ac power inverter series are rack-mountable, and all are for situations requiring a heavy-duty dc to ac inverter approach. The XINv power inverter series is especially suitable for utilizing existing telecom battery plants to enable providing conditioned power for mission-critical ac systems.
Photovoltaic applications used with a generator or the utility grid may also benefit from these dc to ac inverters in conjunction with an automatic transfer switch (ATS). The ATS will reliably switch back and forth between ac power sources without your having to worry about synchronization, yet still are fast enough that switch-mode power supplies stay up.

Typical XINv Series dc to ac inverter applications are:

XINv Series rack-mountable dc to ac inverters
XINv
~ These heavy-duty XINv Series dc to ac inverters are housed in a 2U
rack-mountable enclosure. XINv PWM inverters feature a transformer isolated
sine wave output. They are designed for all applications requiring
continuous pure sine wave power. XINv uses high-performance microprocessor
and unipolar pulse-width-modulated (PWM) power conversion circuits for high
efficiency and low input dc ripple currents. They also feature high dc to ac
power conversion efficiency, pure sine wave output and long MTBF. XINv also
provides precision automatic voltage regulation of nominal vac +/-3% and
less than 5% THD. XINv’s 2U high construction with optional wall or
rack-mounting kits provides maximum flexibility for telecom and industrial
users.
Typical dc to ac inverter configurations include, but are not limited to the

XINv-400/600/900-24V ~
+/-24 vdc input, 115 vac output, 400, 600 or 900 watts.
XINv-400E/600E/900E-24V ~
+/-24 vdc input, 230 vac output, 400, 600 or 900 watts.

Rack-mounting kits
~ These kits enable the XINv dc to ac power inverter units to be
placed virtually anywhere that fits your space considerations. This
includes desktop and floor mount options. If a rack mount configuration is
what you require, TSi's XINv Series are designed to accommodate most
standard component rack enclosures. With a simple rack mount kit option, you
can place your rack-mountable inverter, rack-mountable UPS, and/or automatic
transfer switch, in either a 19". 23", and 24" rack and
better facilitate the space
requirements of your systems.
